Normandy drop scattered the 101ste 82nd all over. I don't think anyone made there exact drop-zone. They were flying on a lower altitude en and higher speed than should have been when they jumped. Tracers burning holes in parachute made sure they came to ground quicker. Show purpose that it looks like chilling, or even Lt. Winters drawing on map never happened. Lt. Winters improvised at the very moment attacking the guns. But for show purpose show this to give clear picture.

A note on Lt. Meehan his plane and remains wasn't found until 1950 (6 years after D-DAY) and was returned to the States in 1952, he was only 22 when he was killed, one thing this show isn't able to do is show just how old/ such as Winters was only 26 at this time which was the average age of the American Service member during world war II, most of the guys we follow were anywhere from 18-24 years old which is just crazy when you think about people in that age range now still trying to figure out and start there lives
