November Dev Notes (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

It's time for another dev notes, and this month features a lot of different moving pieces!

On my side, I'll be focusing on adding a new quest featuring Abel. Similarly to how Lukka's quest encourages you to repeat encounters with the imp, I'd like to do a similar concept for the Lost encounters. This will also let you build and explore your relationship with Abel, leading him either to embrace Corruption or reject it. New art for him is also in the works~

An ending featuring the Lost Prisoner is also in the works. This will push his character arc to its extreme, where you and him ascend into the apex predators of the Barrens. I'm really glad that the community took a liking to Ferro, he's been a blast to work with. <3 

There's also work being done on polishing the UI for the new combat system. The current one was very much a proof of concept, but since I'm happy with the new flow, it's time to clean it up and make it shine!
