Hey everyone, it is time for another monthly stream of consciousness post~

There's this ending that Rain/Dragonien and I have been working on that is about Ethrex. The writing has been ready to integrate for a while, and I think now's the time to get it in there. I wanted to make it a bit special here since Ethrex is very much a chaotic being and openly tells you that he'll take Nyx for himself, given the chance to do so. Expect something very intense~

I also want to work on combat some more. There's a few problems I've noticed while playing that I want to tackle for this month, more specifically:
-There are too many inputs required for small/unimportant decisions.
-The whole passage for the fight reloads with every attack, which resets the viewpoint of the player.
-With long combos, the resulting page has too much text to process, making it bloated and less likely to be read.
-Having a lot of cards in your hand makes it hard to navigate on mobile and low-resolution desktops.

I've been thinking about these problems for a while now, but I finally have solutions to tackle these issues. This should hopefully make fights faster and smoother and move some of the decision-making outside of battle instead of during every single encounter.

I'm also in the early stages of making another quest! It's gonna be about Abel this time, but I don't plan to have it ready for this month. It will be the main focus of the October release.
