Hello everyone!

It's time for another little dev notes where I talk about what's going on in my head and what my plans are for the month!

On the writing side, I really want to finish another path for the Torgar encounter. I'm thinking about making the one where he rejects Corruption completely. This will lead to the 3rd path, which I intend to make available only after having certain information from other playthroughs.

On the mechanical aspects of the game, I really want to tweak and simplify the leveling. It honestly feel kind of tiresome to have to select stata to level up and I'd like to streamline the process so that players can focus their builds with the abilities instead of having to align both every level. I'm not entirely decided for what solution to go for yet, so I'll do some little experiments. 💜

I also have been looking for more artists to help out for the art side of the game. Being a bit of a hybrid between text-adventure and an RPG really allows me to bring moments to life with certain art styles that really fit specific scenes or characters. Like Magic the Gathering or DnD, the game isn't necessarily bound to one specific art style. The text pushes people make up images in their head, and key moments have art to strengthen those images even further. So I've been looking for artists to help out with making those specific scenes and characters truly come to life. I ended up approaching three of them and they were all happy to help out, which truly warmed my heart. I truly believe that a rich and diverse art style can allow us to bring upon more and better art for you guys. 💜

This leads me to announce that although there is 5 completed pieces by Voidlesky that will be added to the game soon, this month will mark the closure of our art collab with him as well. His creativity and professionalism brought the game to the high level of quality it deserves to have. I wish him the best in his future endeavors.

Cheers and have a good April everyone.
