Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you guys an overview of what I have planned for the next few releases and check with you guys what you think should be the priority.

First of all, I have a big rework of the combat system planned for this month that will change a lot of stuff! Without giving anything away, I'm really excited about this one, it's a great opportunity for me to improve on the design with really unique stuff.

We also have been working on reworking the intro of the game. We have improved on it here and there since the start of the project, but I want it to reflect new ideas we had for the lore of it all.

Finally, I am noticing that recently people have been playing the game for longer and longer sessions. This is great to hear! But it also means that people reach a point where content becomes repetitive and stops scaling to how massive and powerful they are getting. This is what I've been waiting for to start working on some more experimental features with the structure of the game... Where being this overwhelming to the world would make it change in interesting ways. It also means I can start working on some of the looping aspects of the story. Where players would trigger endings and return to the start, with some key aspects to the story changing based on the endings you previously got.

So! While I'm focusing on the fight rework this month, I wanted to ask what you guys which of these upcoming features you'd like to see first!

Cheers and thanks again for the support!

Thanks for sharing this info with us! I've been wondering about that actually. Looking forward to this game have more replay value, but that will come naturally as the game grows and develops with content and options. You might want to lay out some trigger events with crucial decisions or stuff like that. I personally am greatly looking forward to variants of encounters. Those are really what blew my mind when playing the first builds. I know, they are a big amount of work, but dang, do I love the surprising amount of veriety from encounters. Just let me CV those dang tiniy pests, Haha! But seriously, adding more variants will also greatly increase play time and make the PC's growth stages much more meaningful. Currently there isn't a lot of a difference on the world as the PC gets bigger, but by adding different encounters depending on the key stats the game reaches a whole new level of "realism"/impact to the game. Guess I should be more active on the discord, and not type all this here~
