Dawn of Corruption [0.9.0] Release Notes! (Patreon)

Hey everyone~

Got some pretty cool stuff for this version!

I've been planning to add some new content featuring Lukka for the longest time, and this month felt like a good moment to give him some love.

He now has a new quest after you've acquired your symbiote, complete it and you'll gain some much needed buffs for it to scale into the mid-late game!

Also, huge thanks to Winty for the new Ethrex art, I wanted him to grow into the biggest character in the game and his art truly reflects how massive he becomes <3

Release Notes 0.9.0:

Features:

Greatly improved performance on all devices (more than 50%).

Added new story for Lukka that's unlocked after merging with your symbiote.

Clearing it evolves your symbiote further, giving it better stats, moves and scaling for late game.

Added Inspect teammate button

Added "Evolution" achievement

Added "Tendrils Grasp" fight move

UI:

Added colored background to timeline log to show who's doing each action (player, enemy or teammate)

Art:

Added art featuring 3 forms for Ethrex (By Winty!)

Bugfixes:

Fixed inspected characters sometimes not showing their head.

Fixed some bad branching in some of Lukka's dialogues.

Fixed issues with Codex's Passion and Appetite of Growth that made them impossible to acquire.

Fixed level up screen showing perk stats of its final rank when upgrading an ability to its next evolution.

This version is NOT compatible with saves from 0.8.6 but you can restart the game with your Essence, Achievements and Exp from older saves.
