To me... this was a (I suppose) competently done Enemy Mine riff with some Transformers nostalgia bait to grab the attention of people like me (a grumpy 40 something who enjoys Transformers). I don't care for it, but the Transformers book this is attached to somewhat is OUSTANDING and I'd recommend it to any one, Transformers fan or not. I'm not a big fan of connecting GI Joe and Transformers in this matter, but as always, YMMV.

I started picking up the Hama GI Joe at Image just because I haven't picked up an ongoing cold in a very long time and I wanted the challenge. The rest I don't care about. Hama's GI Joe is very enjoyable even without much knowledge.
