Strewth! What's In The Works (Patreon)

Coming this week should be the first part of the next multi-part series: A complete overview of Hellblazer. Naturally, it starts with Jamie Delano's foundational run and then Garth Ennis, etc. At the end I will probably compile it into one lengthy video. But, like with Swamp Thing, I'm going to do bits and pieces first. I mean, I can't afford to take a few months off and dedicate all my efforts on that one topic and make one, two hour video. Unfortunately, I have to be practical and put out material on a weekly basis just to keep the channel from completely sliding out of YouTube's frustrating recommendation algorithm.

Seriously, if you saw my analytics you'd be convinced YouTube doesn't even realize my content exists.

Anyway, with Hellblazer there is a prehistory/introduction first. I will likely post that here before it goes live. It provides a brief look at the character's creation by Moore, Totleben and Bissette and the importance of Constantine to the Swamp Thing mythos. This will be the beginning of the complete Delano video.

By the way...

Comics 101: The Elements Of A Comic Book Page is still being worked on. The script is basically done, but I'm not sure whether it should be a podcast/lecture/essay type of thing or whether I should do a proper video. It's another one I'd like to do as a complete piece, but I might have to do it in pieces over time. We'll see. I've not made a decision either way.
