A Dark Magician's Most Evil Trip 4 - or ‘Skeletor stomps on Modern Heroes/Villains’ (CartoonLogic!Skeletor goes to MHA)

Toga Himiko did not expect her life to go through a major improvement once she got taken in by Skeletor-sa-sensei.

Despite having her own doubts about the sanity of the self-proclaimed greatest dark lord in the world, she could tell this guy was not a cuckoo. Not at all. He had power- that was without a doubt after seeing him ‘deflate’ All Might with a mere snap of fingers.

That was nothing to scoff at considering the kind of real monsters All Might faced and that always failed to bring him down. And that’s when it hit her: she had survived All Might.

This was a feat by any villainous organization that sought rookies and… not to the regard of her current teacher and ‘Sir’. She wanted to call him Master, but Himiko understood why it was problematic. And kind of wrong, really.

She was not a pet, she was a minion. Someone that was employed under ‘Lord Skeletor’, and not to be considered a pet or a nuisance. Yet, the blonde had the chance to further expand her understanding on how the ‘chain of command’ really worked within ‘Castle Skeletor’ when she got the chance to meet… ‘her superior’.

Someone that Skeletor valued at a higher price than her own life and… Himiko was not sure what to think of Eri.

While at first glance the blonde thought it was a joke through a mere glance, a quick sniff of the younger girl’s scent threw her off entirely. Eyes widening, being suddenly sweet and nice towards the cute child trying to make her a ‘big sister friend’, Himiko felt forced to roll with it when her brain realized that this scent Eri was giving off was not ‘physical’.

It was instinctual.

She could feel the dying dirt, the wounded flesh, the mature lamb. She could feel death walking beside Eri and… holding her hand. It was the most insane mental picture to imagine, but it was indeed the best way to rationalize why she felt so stiff around Eri.

Truth be told, Himiko was fine with Eri. She had- used to have many siblings and Eri was surprisingly easy to handle. It wasn’t the hyperactive brat that nagged or wanted attention- nor was she afraid of what Himiko was.

But she did ask something that actually got her to tense up.

“Are you wounded? I can smell blood coming from under your shirt.”

It was her vials. The neatly sealed vials that should not produce any smell to attract any attention.

“I told you, didn’t I?” Skeletor half-mocked half-praised. “That’s my direct apprentice, Nyeh!”

A nod, and Himiko was spared any education for the remainder of the day. Eri took charge of the tour of the castle, and the blonde was baffled by the size of it and the quality of the stuff around.

The bathrooms were… impressive. She could lose her mind in one of those tubs with how nice it looked and how ‘isolated’ it was from others, but it wasn’t the same as the ‘workshops’.

Those were special spaces Skeletor had generalized for various owners, with changes accepted depending on said owners’ specialization. Hers was still in need of some modifications, but the section regarding Blood Magic had her shivering.

The scent was putting her in the spot, eyes wide open, a crazed grin on her face as she delightfully studied the various samples and their ‘smells’. She refrained from licking or tasting just yet until she knew who or what provided those supplies- after all, one thing may smell like blood but it could be actually something deadlier.

The first day was… a blast. Her own room was also wonderful as the bed was just demanding her to slumber. The meals were wonderful as magically-summoned skeletons were smooth chefs with their culinary expertise.

With a full belly and a warm bed to slumber upon, Himiko’s new life began…

And she was instantly thrusted into the world of ‘magic’.

Eri had told her a lot about what she went through her first day. It was ‘exciting’, yet ‘nerve-wracking’, but also ‘so cool’ because of what she would learn through those lessons.

It wasn’t like school as Skeletor was a teacher that focused on her, which meant greater attention and even greater strictness the moment she disobeyed his rules depending on some practical lessons.

“Does Blood Magic only help in hurting people?”

“Only if the purpose you give it is just that,” Skeletor argued with a dull tone, perusing books together with her by the private area of the library used as their study room. “It’s not exactly my realm of competence, but I know the basic steps behind it. First, one has to have an affinity- and you do.”

She nodded at this, and waited for him to continue.

“Then, there’s the fact you need to know what you want out of it. To put it simple, you have to be the one in charge.”

“...Of the magic?”

“Of your own intent, magic, and will,” The Dark Lord elaborated. “It’s the kind of magic that is far more physical than mere lich magic. It relies on your grasp on the notion that you will have to be ‘above normal’. And none of that monster idiocy! As if the people have anything else to throw at others- Monster, Demon, You eat Babies! Those are insults, minion. You learn to endure those, and then you accept you as yourself- not what others label you for the sake of their feelings.”

The sharp remainder of what he said back when he picked her up from that alley hit her square in the mind and soul.

She had been skeptical about accepting this sort of idea- that she wasn’t a monster and that… it was how others coped with something they didn’t like. She could see it now within  her grasp as she exercised. Part of her felt the shell still wrapping around her- no longer a matter of being a ‘liar’ to others, but a liar to herself.

If before she tried to be ‘normal’, now she had gone to try and be a ‘monster’.

But what if that was the problem?

Himiko had been so stuck in this spot between a mundane life and one that fully capitalized on the urges her Quirk pushed onto her that she hardly had a chance to be ‘her own person’.

It was a realization that felt more like an understanding. And as the first lesson went by and she was given the chance to also train herself physically since she refused to be a glass cannon, Himiko felt like she had a goal in life. A big goal at that.

She didn’t look at trying to take over the world, but she could see little Eri eventually do that herself. If she was to go by Skeletor’s own admission in regard to Eri-

She is being prepared to be the one ‘Skeletor’ this world needs. I doubt I will be around for that, but I know you can tell that she can’t do this alone. She will need her own henchman- or rather henchwoman.

This request was implicitly stated, but Himiko took notice of it and, considering how things were right now, she was willing to give this opportunity a shot.

A month after being trained under Skeletor and opening some more with Eri about her ‘weird obsession’, she was pleasantly surprised to learn Skeletor wanted them to do a criminal ‘bad thing’.

It would be just Eri and Himiko and, while the latter was unsure on what they could do, the little girl had a ‘devious’ plan in mind.
