Important - Unusual Patreon Declined Payments Confirmed (Part 2) (Patreon)

Same story as last month, but I will make it clear once per month since I doubt many are aware of this. Banks and Patreon have a love-hate relationship at times, leading to people paying for tiers as an automatic service ending up with their payment declined because their banks sees Patreon as a 'potential malicious entity'. In truth, if you have this issue, you will need to tell the bank this is an authorized situation as they think something is wrong there.

This isn't something that happens just with my page. If you have other people you support in patreon they may also have a similar situation going on for them as this isn't a 'limited case scenario'. In the eventuality that the issue is not tied to the bank, there's also a chance that something borked on Patreon's end and your payment details may have been loaded wrong.

The reason why I have to raise this up to people's attention is tied to the fact that a declined payment being unfixed may result on Patreon taking actions on the matter and blocking any attempt to accept the payment details as 'suspicious'. I am not 100% sure of this, but I have been told people could actually get blocked for this.

Lastly, notifying me that the payment has been done is unnecessary. We Creators have specific notifications that tell us if the situation is fixed or not, plus we can check the 'Declined' number change with each fixing.
