Miima comes from an exceptionally large family with over a dozen sisters, not counting her extended family. Which is commonplace in Ontonia as an elf's entire family often live under one roof. From a young age Miima has had difficulty standing out. Having studied diligently she was chosen among other students in her age by the Chamber of Health to become an apprentice thaumaturge. She was still a child when she met the thaumaturgist Irraere making quite an impression on her, leading to her apprenticeship.
