Even by demon standards Crow is rather frightening, the daughter of a wrath demon, now imprisoned within Hell for consuming human souls on earth. A time before the affinity to human emotions, when demons could truly be considered 'monsters'. 

The descendants of those demons, what few there are who aren't imprisoned themselves are closely watched over by Hell.  Even though Crow was without a instrument, she still loved music and visited earth in the guise of a human to experience human music, where she met Nikita. Even though they were both kids at the time, Crow was still tall for demons, let alone humans. When her guise failed the humans in Nikita's village became frightened of Crow and attacked her, this was the first time Crow felt  true rage.

Later in Crow's life, because of fear that she would lose her newly born daughter and newly wedded husband, she chose to permanently shackle herself within her home in Hell. She lives a quiet, strangely suburban life with her husband and daughter, but under the surface she's always aware of the rage that she and her daughter are capable of.
