I have to say, I usually really like your interviews but this one was a bit underwhelming, especially considering the long, deep history of labor organizing in Hollywood. Im an animator so I know mostly about that, but a very nice book about it is "Drawing the Line" by Tom Sito, who was president of the animation guild , historian and animator in many Disney movies. I dont know his political inclinations but for sure would be interesting to hear from him. There is an interview about the book here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ni8r2r7ZlsA&ab_channel=CrisAlvarez . For sure the story of Hollywood labor history goes deep into US history, like how Reagan was president of the Actors Guild, or the deep repercussions of the Disney Strike, negotiations for residuals that still go on today, etc.
