Hey guys, have a question about rural politics. My family is partly from rural Cornwall in the UK, partly from rural Arkansas. I share your frustrations when some in the centre (and left) write off those areas. On the other hand, there are structural reasons why it can be harder for socialists to organise say, self-employed fishermen in Cornwall even if they have the most dangerous job and worst working conditions in the labour market. Do you have any thoughts about how these barriers can be overcome? Keep up the good work.

Do you think an anarchist movement - say a labour movement spearheaded by an anarchist union like the CNT-FAI - could ever be successful? Why/why not? Personally I'm attracted to anarchism but also consider myself a Marxist and I don't understand the material reasons why Marxists typically think anarchism can't work. Worker self-management is worker self-management, no?
