I'm not gonna keep hitting you with long rambling small violin posts, so I'll keep this short. In my quest to improve my art, I have characteristically lost the plot and had a melt down, and your excellent selves were disappointed I'm sure with my output. However all dark times end with a shiny lightbulb appearing above our heads and I've decided to have a month focusing on speed, intuition, work ethic, and most importantly having FUN with my work. I got so obsessed with how it looked I forgot why I started and maybe lost my way. It was Mysteries sent me some of my much older work I realised what I had lost, so cheers mate for that, gave me a kick up the bum.

I'm still gonna keep improving, but my priority is drawing and expressing myself, not trying to be 'good at art'. I'll be working with myself instead of against myself.

So that being said, here's the first of what I'm gonna call the July Jam! Because I love giving things names. My priority will be speed and simplicity, and I'll be working on myself as much as my artwork. If I realise I'm overthinking something I'll be pulling it right back to the basics.
