so I was talking to a friend recently who is also homeless, and this friend was having a particularly bad Time. We were lamenting how hard it can be sometimes when some smug plucky personal trainer type who was listening in turned around and said ‘I LOVE my life!’ Before walking off laughing with his friends. It really knocked my friend and I just couldn’t believe his ignorance. We get by and we’re self sufficient but whether someone is homeless or not there’s no need to be a dick.
