I wasn’t expecting to finish this so soon after putting out the promotional lens, but I get sucked into the work trance and lo and behold, a Tf appears!

Maybe a three panel would have had more impact but I wanted to explore the subtleties of his expression and the development of his body. It’s always a toss up between detail and impact.

anyway, I hope you enjoy :)

Mysteries of Me

I think I personallly prefer Joe this way

I personally prefer the five panel sequences over the three panel ones. The three panel ones feel rushed to me, where the five panel ones give you more time to appreciate the change.

The 5 panel phase definitely helps with the transition of the facial expression and doesn't give a feeling of a rushed or sudden transfornation at perhaps a 3 panel phase would provided. Wonderful work. And I like the circle in the background; it added a new atmosphere in contrast to the usual white canvas.

It never occurred to me that the three panel stuff would read as the Tf happening faster! That is good to know!

I appreciate the 5 panel most, especially with a more drastic change. Its what helps it seem more believable as the same person transitioning to another form, even if they are complete opposites. But i think the 3 works when the guy is still staying mostly himself just with some minor changes eg muscle gain, weight gain etc
