Canceled Comic. (Patreon)

Hey guys, I wanted to tell you about a little problem I’m having with the comic I was working on.

. Let me tell you what’s going on.

Not so long ago, I was talking with my friend Jenny Poussin and I had the idea of making a comic based on her character “Arctic Foxx”. It was supposed to be a 15 page comic. I was really hyped about it, and after making the story and the character design I started working on some of the pages… that until the “incident” came into the story. 

” So here’s where the “Salseo” started (In Spain we say salseo as a synonym to “drama”)

The artist @Dmitrys_Futa contacted me since he wanted to know about the model Jenny Poussin. He wanted to know if she was still active and where to find her. I gave him her Twitter link and her contact info.

And I don’t know when or how but the conversation started turning a bit serious, I couldn’t believe it.

The case here was that they started going after each other, telling really big things to one another. I spoke with both of them, everything went okay with Dmitry’s… but when I spoke to Jenny, things started getting twisted in ways that still today I can’t understand. Long story short, she told me to go to hell and that she didn’t want to know anything about me anymore.

So this comic was pretty much thrown into trashcan. To be honest, I don’t know what the hell happened to this girl during her retirement, but she came back really different… always angry, bitter and with a bad temper. I don’t know if she had some sort of traumatic experience or whatever. There’s also the rumor that there’s someone else behind all those social media profiles and that they’ve stolen her identity. In my case, I won’t waste my time with it… I don’t care anymore. If she doesn’t want to know about me, I’m okay with that. It’s sad but… that’s life for you.

The shitty part about all this is… my comic.

Buuuuuut...

I wasn’t going to let all that material go to waste, so I recycled it and I’m planning on turning it into one of the other projects I had in mind. This time with my girls as the main characters (They do love me)

We will always encounter this kind of obstacles in our way, but they won’t stop me from drawing the comics I want. I might get a little delayed on my project, but don’t worry… I’ll get there.

I’ll try to show you guys a little preview of what I was working on.
