In Russia they hunt frogs with bow and arrow? I grew up with the Germanic version of the fairy tale. Where the frog or toad is male and the prince is a princess.

The Russian version is different. TLDR, princes shoot arrows at random and find their bride by wherever they land. Youngest finds a frog. Takes off frog's skin to become a pretty princess and accomplish magical tasks. Prince destroys it, making her double cursed, and they have to kill an evil wizard.
