I think it's safe to say that I had a very eventful week. As we begin December, not only was I more busy with spending more time with friends and family, but I also had to take care of an emergency with a sponsorship that turned out to be a scam and back track everything with them. I did manage to do some work today, but definitely not as much as before. It's just one of those weeks where I ended up with several plans all coincidentally close together. Anyways, here's what my week looked like.

- Released my review of Medabots: Well, there goes my long streak of reviewing good content. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this does come out as a controversial review, since I'm sure there will be some that may find the show to be nostalgic for them. Me, however, with my experience with this feature, like I said in the title, it was painful. The Pokémon comparisons are unavoidable, I don't like the characters, the format was getting repetitive quite quickly and the voice acting was complete cringe. It really wasn't easy to sit there and spend days going through all those 52 episodes and I feel fortunate that I don't have to include watching that sequel series. I don't know if I'd fully get into it if I saw this as a kid, but I just feel thankful that I ultimately stuck to Pokémon and Digimon.

- Working on the Top 5 Best & Worst Animated Films of 2022: Again, I wasn't able to do a whole lot of progress on this project. There were several things that were in the way that took a higher priority like spending time with my family, going to an event with my friends, do a quick livestream for the 2nd Mario Movie trailer and a quick acting gig for an internal medical video. However, I did take some prominent steps to make sure that this does movie forward. I made all the revisions needed on the script (for now. It will go through some eventual changes) and I did all the filming and recording to have them ready for the editing booth. I'm sure by next week, I will have more time to get this project moving. But at least this week was still better than nothing.

- Getting rid of Established Titles: Oh boy...what an unexpected mess this became. You probably know in the previous blogs that I've been prepping up a big deal with Established Titles and have multiple plugs ready for up to Christmas. However, it was eventually revealed and the reports have blown up to be uncontrollably big that the company turned out ot be a scam. It was so bad that even the ad agency told me to abandon ship and stop promoting ET. I was honestly a little hesitant at first if I should take some extra action to seperate myself from the company (like much more than making a statement).I've never done this before, but I decided it was best to lock my recent reviews of My Father's Dragon and Strange World and upload new versions without the plugs. Yes, some say I could've used YouTube editor to simply cut it out from the original videos...but that tool sucks and I'd rather have a video I can fully polish myself that to grab their janky scissors. I even had to take some time reediting the upcoming videos to remove their plugs as well. The one downside to this is that I won't be paid anymore for the work I've done for them, but I think it's honestly for the best in the long run (at least until they prove themselves innocent) to completely distance myself from the company and that their downfall does not affect me in any way. Best I can do is own up to my mistakes, have a good restart and just hope things get better with the next sponsor.

So that's been my crazy week there. It was definitely surprising as a nice way to put it. However, even with it's problems, it will go up from here and I will have more time to fully get back on the Top 5. The Holiday madness has definitely arrived. Now we just need to survive it to see 2023. So, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!

1. Never heard of that show, so you’re fine. 2. Can’t wait! 3. Good to know. We’ll see what happens. Hope you’re doing OK otherwise, Mat.
