Things are feeling better for me...well, kind of. I do feel mentally better from last week. That break and spending time with loved ones during Easter helped me a lot to get myself back in shape to work and to do so in a steady pace and I feel good about myself again. That catch? I somehow caught a sinus infection...Ah well, I won't let that stop me from working. Here's what I"ve been up to this week.

- Released my interview with Stephen Silver: This was a fun opportunity that was a long time in the making. I'd say it took over a month to make this happen because of Stephen's schedule. And the crazy thing is, he came to me to make this interview. Inspired by my video with Jasmine Katatikarn, he wanted to chat with me about his career and to go promote his animation school, the Silver Drawing Academy. I got myself more prepared for this interview like setting up my camera to film myself while talking to him instead of having my computer work hard to both record the screen and the webcam, and I even talked to a journalist beforehand on how to improve my interviewing skills. The result turned out to be a great video that I'm proud of and hope I can do more of to talk to other prominent people in the industry. Plus, I even got an awesome Kim Possible-style drawing! At least for me, this whole experience was a total win.

- Writing and Recording the Series Review: As I was busy with some other duties like talking to  patrons throughout the week, I also had time to actually get to work on my next Series review. This will be a bigger review than the ones I've done recently, but I've so far done a good amount of work on it by writing the whole script and even get both the filming and recording done for the project. Because of another project taking priority, I'll have to wait until next week to start editing the pieces all together. However, I am considering to try something a little bit different with this video in terms of the clips I use for these series reviews to make things a bit easier on myself. I'll put that in practice when the time comes, but for now, this project is coming along nicely.

- Currently working on my review of The Bad Guys: I've been eagerly waiting for this one for a while now. It's honestly been so long since I've been hyped up for a DreamWorks movie and this one shows a lot of promise, especially with the trailers where it almost feels like an homage to Lupin the 3rd. Even the critics' reactions so far seem very promising, so my big-screen experiences will get a whole lot better than ever. It already in on a good track with Sonic the Hedgehog 2, so let's see if The Bad Guys can continue the theatrical fun for me.

And that was my week of feeling better while working, but also taking care of my nose. I'm sure time can ultimately heal this, but it's just no it feels like an annoying factor that only adds to my responsibilities of what I gotta do during my day. Even if I don't feel sick, it still sucks being sick! Anyways, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!

Glad that your interview turned out well Mat. Can't wait for your upcoming reviews. But as always, take your time.

Glad you’re feeling better, dude! I’m guessing allergies, by the way, since you mentioned your nose. Can’t wait to see what you think of The Bad Guys! (Never mind; just re-read part of it)

You definitely work hard a lot and I wish for you the best. Also I just saw the Bad Guys and trust me you are going to love it so much.
