Treasure Planet is one of my favorite Disney movies! Either that or Mulan is my most watched dvd. I would’ve so much liked to see that sequel and tv-series! I screamed like crazy when you hinted at you’ll be reviewing it for your next AniMat’s Classic Reviews!!! :D

Awesome video. I can’t wait to see the final product with those animations when they are done. The best part of this video was when you included a clip of The Treasure Planet when you talked about Treasure Planet being a bomb. Next time the dark age of Disney is going to get a lot darker.

Just imagine if didn’t bomb at the box office. Believe it or not, one of the planned episodes for the proposed series was a crossover with Gargoyles! It would have been cool to see Goliath and friends again!

Nice video, but I hope the animation gets done when this release on YouTube. As for thoughts of each film: Atlantis The Lost Empire: I like the movie. I thought it was good in my opinion since I do like the artstyle since it was mainly done by Hellboy creator, Mike Mignola, action scenes, some acting like Michael J Fox, in fact this and Stuart Little really introduced to him as an actor back when I was a kid to be honest, and music score by James Newton Howard. I know it not overall great, but I like it either way. Definitely count as one of my favorite underrated films and my advice for Disney if they are gonna keep making these pointless remakes, make this instead. Lilo and Stitch: I really loved it another considered as one of my favorite Disney animated films with Mulan and few others. I watched it many times as a kid along with watching directing to video films. I even watch some episodes on Disney channel and they were fun to watch. Although I love the original more, but the sequels and tv show were decent as well. I haven’t seen the anime but I prefer not to because that one will just upset me more so I’ll stick with the original timeline. By the way, the trailers featuring Disney characters were also fun to watch too. It a Disney animated film that will always leaves me rewatching again. Treasure Planet: I thought it was okay. I seen like a few times like 5 or 6 maybe, but maybe not that memorable except for the music score by James Newton Howard again, jeesh Disney loved Howard so much for what he has done in the past right? Anyways, the best way to describe this as Disney own Titan A.E. I know both are different from another in terms of story wise, but both are similar to another. Both had sci-fi, it featured a reckless protagonist, plot point when there a villain twist coming by, it featured a rock soundtrack, and both ended up becoming box office bomb for Disney and 20th Century although Disney Animation still survives but Fox Animation Studios didn’t. I didn’t realize it until I notice a pattern except for production troubles since both sides was completely different, but you know what I mean. It not great, but I prefer Atlantis more. Can’t wait for the review next month still. Brother Bear: I didn’t like it a lot back as a kid and I always consider one of Disney’s weaker animated films same goes for the direct to video sequel since I saw about two or three times. I mean I like the first act before the transformation part but if they could’ve just focus on that aspect part without transforming into a bear, then it would’ve been a lot stronger. Overall, it not a good film, but rather mediocre in the veins of Black Cauldron although at least it still better than Chicken Little and Home on the Range which you’re digging to those two films next.

Here's one sad fact about Treasure Planet's failure. It bombed so hard, it actually wiped out all the profits Disney made from Lilo & Stitch.

Lady Tyler Bio Rodriguez

I always felt Treasure Planet and Atlantis deserved better then what they got. They aren't perfect films but damn it, they were creative as can be

Haileigh Tenney

part 12 will talk about home on the range, chicken little, meet the robinsons, and bolt

Haileigh Tenney

part 13 will about princess and the frog, tangled, Winnie the pooh, and wreck it ralph

The sentence of "Disney was seen as old-fashioned" was repeated twice.

Congratulations Dreamworks, Blue Sky, & Nickelodeon you ruined Hand Drawn Domestic Animation for 10 years sure Princess and the Frog tried but James Cameron stopped those plans with 3D movies Shame that what it is Shame

I came back to rewatch this to see what the animations look like and as always Logan did an awesome job. He definitely did a great job with that musical number at the end. I also thought that animation featuring Stitch was pretty funny as well. Although I did not recognize DaWillstanator's voice as him until I heard the yelling then I recognized him. This was absolutely worth rewatching for the animations. Keep up the good work Mat and Logan and I can’t wait for part 12.
