After a good break from uploading, I'm back to release new videos again for some more animated fun that I have in store! I'll admit that this whole time was refreshing to catch up on some work and not feel like I have to stick to a schedule where the top priority would be to release a video every week. It's like with my podcast where I want to prioritize the quality of the content than maintaining a consistent schedule, because that's what's most important in the long run. It also helped to give me confidence with what's ahead with the next videos I have in store so that I'll make sure they come out as the best they can be, whenever I'll put them out. However, in terms of what I've done this week, it was mainly one big project, so don't expect this to be a long read :P Anyways, here's what I've been working on.

  • Released my review of Beavis and Butt-Head Do America: Now that I've gotten my first true taste of Beavis and Butt-Head, I'll say that, at least with this movie, I like it. I can't say that I love it, but I did genuinely enjoy it. In the case of Do America, it has a good balance of stupid and smart, where you can have fun in a turn-off-your-brain kind of way as you see the two be completely clueless with wherever they go with just sex, TV and heavy metal in the head, but also clever to see how there's this entire action movie scenario happening around them because everyone is not prepared for how dumb those two can be. I'll admit that this did not make me become a major fan to the point where I want to go and binge all the episodes of the show, but it's like, "I know what it is now, I like it, and now I can move on with my life knowing that it's not something that I really need in my life". So now that I got that done, the next movie I'll be looking into is The Triplets of Belleville. I'll admit that I've always wanted to watch this movie, and I really liked Sylvain Chomet's other works like The Illusionist and his couch gag from The Simpsons, so we'll see if this one will meet my expectations.

  • Writing the script for the next History Video: While I've taken care of other errands during the time, the main thing that I've worked on this week was working on the script for the next History video. And yes, this is one where it had to take me the whole week because this turned out to be much bigger than I anticipated. This is still early in production, but my original plan was to have this be released sometime next month. However, if there is a lot to work on this one to be done afterwards and the length of the video would be over an hour, then I'll consider to push this back to June so that I have more time to make sure this video comes out amazing. Like I said in the beginning, I want to prioritize its quality than its release date. Keep in mind though that this is all just speculation, and the video could come out much shorter than I thought. I'm only guessing based on the size of my script. The good news is that I am done with the writing. I did all the revisions necessary to say everything I want to say and that my research is on point. Now it's just to do the next phase next week where the filming and the start of editing will commence.

So that was my week where I was writing and uploading again amongst other things. Next week shall be the part where I shall begin bringing this big project to life, so I know I'll still have a lot of work to do. Depending how much, however, we'll have to wait and see so that I can arrange when I'll want to put the video out. I'll be sure to have my camera ready. So, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!

Good to hear you’re putting a lot of effort into your next editorial and making sure the quality exceeds expectations. It makes me more anticipated for its upload. Although, I would’ve also thought you’d say something about your recent cameo in Season 3, Episode 9 of the Paramount+ series Ghosts considering it’s one of your major breakthroughs making an appearance in a mainstream and highly popular show outside of your voice cameos in other animated projects.

I hope that things will turn out well for your history video. Whatever it is, I hope it is amazing in June. Also, yay for Tripletts of Bellevielle. And finally, congrats in your cameo in Ghosts. I also hope that it is getting you one step closer to achieve your dreams of becoming an actor.
