Warning: This new art set will not be in the next update! It should be available to patrons before the end of the year, probably in the v0.11 update in October, but the amount of artwork required by this game will take a long time to make, so please be patient!

Yep, that's the player character!

I've commissioned the creation of a new art set for Succubus Stories! I was only able to afford such a massive endeavor thanks to the generous support of all of you, my patrons! So far, all of the money I've earned on Patreon has been poured back into the project in the form of assets for 3D renders, services like Dropbox Professional, and, now, this new set of beautiful artwork by the talented Oni-san.

Both because adding this art set will likely require testing and because it's only thanks to patrons that it exists, the option to use this art will only be available to patrons for at least a while. I do not plan to release this art to free users until sometime in 2022. If you like the renders, fret not, they are still gonna be in the game; you get the option to select which art style you'd prefer at any time from the settings menu! Players starting a new game will also be prompted to select an art style before the game begins. Both web and Windows users will be able to select either art style; this won't be exclusive to the Windows version like mod support.

Now for some bad (sort of?) news: I'm officially canceling custom art pack support. I will update the game's descriptions on various sites to reflect this soon. Realistically, players will not be able to create custom art packs without a ton of work, and the game is so much larger and has so much more art than I originally planned that it's just not feasible. That's why this new art pack exists. Instead of putting the onus on players, the game will come with two different high-quality art options for you to pick from and that's it. It's still more than you get from most games, but I do understand that it's not what was planned, and I apologize for that.
