Succubus Stories has launched and is now available to play. You can check out the Free Edition right now. If you want to support the development of the game, you can join the Patreon and get instant access to the Patron Edition, which features built-in cheats and convenience features, and will get new content first going forward.

The Bug Hunt

To celebrate the game’s launch, and because there are almost certainly many bugs in the game, for the next three weeks I’m holding a “bug hunt.” To join in, you must be over the age of 18 and legally an adult in your country or legal region.

To enter, all you have to do is find a bug and fill out a bug report on the issue tracker between the game’s launch on August 6th through August 27th. Only valid bug reports will be considered. Reporting multiple valid bugs will give you multiple entries in the raffle, up to a certain limit. I won’t reveal that limit to discourage any funny business.

Typos and grammar errors count as bugs. Feature requests, requests for balance adjustments, or other enhancement requests do not count as bug reports for the purposes of the bug hunt, but are still very welcome!

One winner will selected at random and be given a key to access the Patron Edition of the game completely free of charge. This prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash, and has no cash value. Note that access to the Patron Edition does not make you a patron at any tier level, and the prize does not include any other tier benefits as described on this page.

(Note: To satisfy Patreon's guidelines I want to be absolutely clear that supporting this Patreon campaign or otherwise providing any sort of money or financial reimbursement will not have any effect on the bug hunt.)

Discord

Invite here. I am not super experienced at running a Discord server, but I did moderate a forum some years back so I’m not a total noob. Still, feel free to reach out to me about changes to the Discord or issues with it.

Art Packs

I haven’t set up a goal yet, but I will in the coming weeks. The first thing I want to do with any proceeds from this Patreon is hire an artist to generate a more traditional 2D art pack to replace the current 3D one. This will become the new default art pack going forward, though I will make the current one available as a separate download for those who take a liking to it.

The Devlog

I will be writing a devlog here, but only patrons will have access to it. The first post will be coming soon, probably on Monday, so stay tuned for that! I plan to have a post about twice a month. You can keep up with development between these posts by keeping an eye on the project’s issue tracker.

The goal of the devlog will not necessarily be to document the progress of the game, as the issue tracker already does this. Instead, expect to hear more about why I've made certain decisions and some other thoughts and ideas I have over the course of development.
