Hey everyone. I meant to post an update several days ago, buuut.. Just before the free Windows 10 upgrade period ended, I decided to finally give it a shot. Nothing to lose, right? Well, it eventually turned into several BSoD's a day, and one of them almost made me lose work on the game. Luckily that wasn't the case and my files are all fine, but it did set me back a few days, as I've been spending the past few days reformatting everything and getting back to Windows 7. Things seem to be running smoothly now so I'll be getting back to work soon, and I should hopefully be able to post stuff and start doing streams again before long! Thank you all for your patience and support; I promise I'll have some more interesting stuff to post soon! -A42 (In the meantime, here's a design CG for the Alraune that Lustfire drew up recently! https://i.imgur.com/0bZdIwq.png)

NEVER update to win 10 always do fresh install or you will get various problems due to legacy stuff lingering on pc, almost everyone who did update instead of fresh install had some kind of problems.

Funny thing that the only way to get it for free was to upgrade, then. Regardless of how avoidable the problems may have been, I'm not exactly interested in giving it another chance, especially since I would have to pay for it.

Yikes, I'm glad to hear you didn't lose progress on the game. I'm also glad I never tried Windows 10, I had a bad feeling about it and now I know it was justified.

It's not bad when you do fresh install, all horror stories you hear are pretty much from people that failed reading tests and felt like control panel is a voodoo. :V

Second the opinions on Windows 10. I know people who praise the OS, and they're all people who had fresh builds with a fresh install, but people who updated have been having tons of issues. Hope all is well!

Well, a bit late here, but assuming you could get to the desktop, there was an option to revert back to your old version of windows in the windows update setting menu of win10. I used it, and was amazed that it completely reverted, no issues remain. Happily using win7 still :3

Either way it was too late for that, unfortunately - they only let you do that for a month, and I had been on Win10 for just a few days longer than that so it was no longer available. I really did try to like it - gave it a lot longer than I should have before giving up - but in the end the only positive thing I have to say about it is that the boot times are lightning fast, everything else was fucking miserable compared to Win7.
