question i have the latest version of the came and i'm stuck i can't find the crypts or the lurker all the areas are blocked off by black walls

You're playing the latest Patreon demo, right? Not the public demo? If you are playing the public demo for some reason, it doesn't contain the Catacombs area. If you are on the Patreon version though, first make sure you've gone through the Deep Soil and gotten the Kilogrip powerup there so you can grab ledges. Once you've done that, you'll need to head back to the Summit area, and head towards the upper right part of it. There should be some ledges you can get up to using the ledge grab, and it'll lead you to an indoor area on the far right that leads back down, to a huge vertical room that you drop down that leads you straight to the Catacombs.
