Progress report + Community Recolor 2 shirt color poll results (Patreon)

Hey everyone, time for another CPE update! I won't say the last week went amazingly, but I'm feeling pretty good about it overall. I finished importing all of the new cutscene text into our localization files, got a bit more work done on the Hoverjets rework, and FINALLY finished sifting through the rest of the voice acting I've received so far, which (for some reason) I've been avoiding sitting down to do for a bit. I think it's the lack of distractions; normally when I work, I can put on music or a video/movie, which helps with the ADHD, but when I'm doing audio work I can't really have any of those distractions, so it can be a lot more difficult to get going AND to stay focused.

Anyway, I'm still waiting on recordings from a few folks, but I haven't even started implementing the actual new cutscenes yet, on top of everything else that needs to happen for this update, so I'm still not worried about getting all the voicework done in time; there's plenty of leeway left.

My schedule this week was very odd because I was trying to fix my sleeping schedule, yet again, so I had a lot of very sleepy days in there, and I didn't get as much work as I would've liked done. Still though, it's an improvement over the last few weeks and I'll take that as a win. I'm pretty much back to a schedule that I'm happy with now, as well, so fingers crossed I can actually KEEP it fixed for once! Keeping a consistent sleeping schedule is brutal when you're self-employed, have sleeping problems, and are extremely ADHD :p

In any case, though, here's what we got up to this past week or so:

Last week we voted on shirt color, and here are the winners! And JUST like the last two polls, we've yet again had the exact same thing happen: the Patreon and Discord votes were in agreement for Recolors 2 and 3, but Recolor 1 had a slight upset, with Patreon voting for C, but Discord voting heavily in favor of D, resulting in D coming out ahead by a mere 3 votes! I think that's the closest any of the combined Patreon+Discord polls have come so far. It's fascinating that this keeps happening consistently in every poll, let's see how long it keeps up the trend!

This week, as the image says, we're going to be deciding on the color of Alicia's shorts. You know how the polls work by now; pick as many options as you like, and in a few days we'll do a poll with variants to pick from based off whichever colors win this poll!

Because I've been less consistent about my posting times lately, I'm not going to set a predetermined end date for the poll this time; I can't manually end the polls on Discord with the way we hold them, so it doesn't seem fair to Patreon that Discord gets to keep voting after the Patreon poll ends, just because I'm late on the results post. It's not really a problem when I'm posting at consistent times, but at least for the time being, I'm going to switch to not setting an end date for polls here on Patreon, so people can keep on voting on both platforms right up until I actually tally the results myself.
