Downloading and Installing Apps (Patreon)

Hey everyone. Patreon makes things a little tricky for distributing Android apps, since it downloads them as regular ZIP files instead of APKs.

I've gotten a few people wondering how they're supposed to install the apps they download, since they see a ZIP and extract it, only to see the contents of the APK instead of the APK itself.

For anyone trying to download an app, if you get a file with a .zip extension, change it to .apk and you should be able to install without issues.

I'm also working on an app (which should hopefully be ready for release soon) which will allow patrons to sign up with a Google account or email and download apps directly from there instead. There are just a few more things to work out before it's done.
