Hi! Thank you for your support!

Progress 'Jan20 Affect3D Set 2': [##########99%##########]

Unfortunately, I can't fulfill the plan I set at the beginning of the month.

I don't have time to physically create ~100 + ~30 images in a month.

Terms will be doubled from February 1 (Affect3D Set release every two months, Patron Set release every two months).

The Jan20 Patron Set will be released until February 10. Polls will be held soon.

If you signed up in January but don't want to renew your subscription for February, I will still send you a link to "Jan20 Patron Set" in private messages.

The "Jan20 Affect3D Set" will be released until January 30 on patreon.

Sorry if I disappointed you (

That's fine. Thanks for the notification :)

It's a sad thing. But you can be forgiven if you'll make more polls with more options and pay more attention to our opinions ;)

It was a pretty ambitious goal and I'm sad to see it fall by the wayside but I'll still sub because your work is good

Derperoni

Really sad you´re not making your deadline. That being said, your art is incredible so I´ll stay and see what you come up with next month <3

If im underestand well, what will be with tiers? If im/will be "Advanced Supporter" i will pay $20 (2 months) for one set, which will be on affect aroud $10?

Sometimes you have to try and do something before you can figure out just how demanding the logistics of doing that thing really is. Your plan was to create ~100 + ~30 images PER MONTH. Given that there's only 20 weekdays per month, that demanded an average production of around ~6 images per weekday, which was going to be difficult to sustain for the long haul no matter what you did. The logistics for doing that are simply too demanding (I'm thinking), particularly if this stuff isn't your "full time job" providing you financial support, meaning you lose some 8-10 hours daily to work (and life maintenance, let's be real here). Yes, you can assign the pretty renders to happen when you're not watching the computer (overnight, while at work, etc.) but you'd basically wind up devoting ALL of your free time every month to doing nothing but this(!) ... which while laudable, just isn't sustainable long term ... especially if you run into any "issues" along the way and need to redo anything, or change your mind about something, or something comes up (and I'm not talking about yet another big dick that needs fucking). When the timing of deadlines (self imposed or otherwise) or quality of product get put in opposition to each other ... resulting in an OR choice rather than an AND choice between them ... it is almost always better to relax the deadline (or set a new one) rather than sacrificing quality just in order to make the deadline. The "pain" of missing a deadline is temporary. The "pain" of delivering low quality, on time, is ... forever. You made the right choice, Hold ... even if you think it's really not fine. What you need to settle into is the path that allows you to produce the best quality product that you can RELIABLY and REPEATEDLY (over time), rather than setting yourself up for repeating failures due to overly ambitious assumptions/deadlines that essentially "take over your life" and devour you from within due to unrealistic expectations on the production side of things. You may think it's not fine ... but we'd rather have you still creating works to the alternative of burning out and leaving the field ...

It seems that this is the case, but you can suggestion something

That looks a little unfair. It should be for the same number, the same money at least. Patreon is a long-term perspective, so the patrons should be more economical, as you have permanent supporters who may not like something at times, but still support you. Afffect are one-time purchases. Therefore, it should be more beneficial for Patrons.

Yes, it was planned, but I'm not on time as much as I would like. I can't set the "Advanced Supporter" Tier less than $ 10 under the Affect3D rules. I don't know how to solve this, I'll think about it after the release of "Elf's Quest Prequel". But you can suggestion something now.

I dont know anything about affect3d rules, but i like Jared999d style of delivering. 40~80 images each month, its 1/2 of full set. 2 months = 1 full set, but every month for $5 = 10$ for full set for us = and later on affect3d for10$

hold

Didn't know that was allowed. I will study Jared999d's tiers. But I will not have time to edit my tiers by the time of payment, so I will make a refund on request or simply cancel payments for the next month. I'll let everyone know more in the posts.

Thats a way how he do it and he is experienced. In that price he has also wallpapers. And for higher tiers he has WIP and votes. And for longtime patrons i think at least 6 month in higher class a year project video, like SOB4

Lobo

Many of the artist I support here has one or two minor updates every month, and a big one every second or third month. For me that is not a problem, I'll rather pay for six first class releases, than twelve third class releases during a year. You either has to go for quantity, or quality, and I prefer the latter one. But this is just my opinion.
