So, here's a chance to ask your questions without being lost in the surprising number on YouTube!

The Q&A won't be live, as many have asked, but will be in the form of a ridiculous talk show - think asmr meets Eric André.

First of all, HUGE congratulations! I know you're probably surprised, but I'm not. You're making the most creative and entertaining content on YouTube and I'm predicting that this is only the beginning of your rise. I do have a couple of questions. First of all, will we ever see Matt again? He's such a unique and loveable character! Second, will there ever be another Germain the Duke video? I know that one wasn't really meant for a follow-up, but Germain is one of my favorite characters of yours and I've re-watched that one video so many times I've lost count. I know you're going to get an endless amount of questions so I'll leave it at those two. But again - CONGRATS, CONGRATS, CONGRATS! Jim! I’m so excited for you! I wasn’t aware of you for all the previous celebratory videos so I’m happy to be part of this and watch this unfold. You’re certainly a true artist!! So I dunno if I should re-ask but here goes. I actually had more like several parts to my question. I was wondering if you have to do multiple takes on your videos regularly, do you use some sort of teleprompter or just memorize your dialogue and is acting something you’ve done before and you’ve found a creative way to use it or did it just kind of evolve as your channel evolved? You do a great job of not being obvious if you are using a teleprompter but I couldn’t imagine memorizing so much content!! Anyways, love you so much. Congrats! 💜 I posted my question on YT, but here it is again: When you are filming a roleplay: in addition to creating your own character, to what extent do you flesh out the corresponding character you are talking to? The "conversations" are so real and genuine; it would be super interesting to hear anything you can share about what you are imagining/visualizing.

Hi Jim... Congratulations on your 50k! I mentioned on YouTube you deserve more, and you will get more! My questions to you were 1.) Have you studied acting? Your ability seems so innate. And 2.) Would you consider doing a video as Edgar Allan Poe? That very misunderstood and troubled American poet and author? I’ve studied his work since I was twelve years old. I love your work, and am blown away by the talent you have for accents. With that voice of yours, you easily can do voice-overs, or go into serious acting in theater, or the big screen. Your success is well deserved and clearly earned not only through diligence and hard work but also much care and generosity. People are drawn to your channel because of your creative storytelling, yes, but I think it’s mostly because of how genuine you are (even if it’s a RP, your earnestness shines through). Also, you masterfully still weave in ASMR triggers into your RPs which I think sometimes others forget to do. (Whoops!) I’m okay with my question being lost on YT as it was just rhetorical and there have been so many interesting ones asked already (I’ll just add “likes” to those ones for them to stand out). I’d rather just listen to what you feel willing to share than throw a question at you. So I’d really just like to say thank you. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and I hope you know how appreciated they are by so many. I’ve seen the conversations from so many others and have seen how much healing they have brought—this goes so far beyond relaxation, sleep, or tingles. I don’t want to seem gushy or embarrass you because it just warms my heart to see so many people positively influenced, and I think you deserve to know that. This is long, I know. I usually try to be succinct...just a little more, I promise! My first attraction to ASMR was purely for the tingles and certain triggers, but I started branching out to positive affirmations/personal attention because these are things so rarely given in real life (I mean, wouldn’t it be so great if we really did always say such nice things to each other). When I listened to other asmrtists I’d usually shrug my shoulders or roll my eyes and think, “It’s nice, I guess, but so, so fake.” And more often than not, I’d just feel silly and dumb. However, when I watch yours, I think, “Huh? Maybe I have more value than I thought.” And I don’t feel silly and dumb—I’ve felt inspired. I would never be an ASMRtist, but I realized this is something I CAN do. I am more cognizant of giving people my full and undivided attention when I am listening to them. I reach out to people more often just to check in to see how they are doing (a big step for a “don’t speak until spoken to” person like myself). I now keep a special checklist of all of my students and make sure each one gets at least one email from me each month with something positive, something that I think is great about them. They each get one, even the real knuckleheads...maybe even especially them. So thank you. Thank for what you’ve done for others. Thank you for what you’ve done for me. I hope you have the strength to continue because what you do is so important, even if you don’t realize it 😊 (I guess I lied about there being just a “little” more ...sorry)

Jim , thank you for giving us a special shot at the Q&amp;A here. It’s why I adore you as an artist. I can’t think of any other YouTube artist who reads and acknowledges nearly every single comment on every YT video. It’s so impressive to me. Congrats! It is so well deserved! My question is now that we are all living through a time where connecting through screens has become the main way we talk with and hang out with our friends and loved ones in some ways we are all becoming ASMR artists. Your ability to make the person on the other end feel truly seen and cared for is unmatched. Hi Jim. I’ve posted my questions on YT but will add them here. 1) was it your original intention to have Hamer the knight die? It seems like things were heading that way. 2) how long does it take for you to master your accents? Is it something you can automatically do or does it take hours, days, weeks? 3) if it’s not too personal, how does autism manifest in your life and how do you cope/deal with it. Ah a talk show format, excited to see what wonderful strangeness you gift us with. :) So um, I left a comment on YT with 14 questions (I’m sorry!!😅), not because I expect any or all of them be answered obviously but because I have so very many and thought it would be fun to give you lots of variety to consider choosing from and to offer a few questions with a bit more substantive bent. I don't want to copy them over here and clog up this thread...but can’t resist tossing a few new ones into your question pile: --Do some of your character names have a story behind why you chose them or a cultural/literary reference? Dr. Roberts, Lars Moriendi, Vlad, Dimi, Mike, Matt, Joe, Germain, Hamer (and Hamer Jones), Clive, Father Thomas, Gene Parcell, Detective L. Jacoby, X’ym Bygel...so many! --Are there any sounds or ASMR triggers that you didn’t know you enjoyed or that would relax you until you began making your content? --Which of the Nine Circles of Hell would you choose to stay in? --If you could *poof* travel back in time to see any Bronze or Iron Age-ish civilization or tribe in the flesh, what would it be? --Do you backup your videos and draft projects and online presence, having amassed such a body of work to-date? Firstly so much congrats for the approaching 50k, it's only the tip of the iceberg that your talent is creating. Second, you know I'm a film maker so my questions are about films; what are your favourite films, directors, styles etc? Are your ASMR vids part of your way of developing your own film style, exploring the way you like to edit (or don't like to edit, because as someone who loves editing there's an automatic assumption that others do too, heh) and generally creating your own style? Is film something that you'd like to move more into for yourself in the future? Thank you for your wonderful work; today I had a really epically shit thing occur and I was able to find some peace sitting with the characters that I love, reminding myself that there is still magick in the world despite the muggles/living dead. It was a small space of holding onto my heart as I sat in the centre of my inner salt circle and kept my purpose in front of me; your work inspires others to keep going. xx
