It’s an app. And if I’m not mistaken, it uses invite codes. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Guess I need to finally figure out what Discord is. I'm such a bad elder millennial. 😅🤣 It's some sort of dedicated group chat thingamabob I hear. If it creates more community connected to the awesomeness that is Jim's content, I'm on board! (Cassiopeia)

tl;dr so apparently you have to go to your profile settings on here and within the app tab there's now the possibility to connect discord. if you click it opens a pop up and if you already have an account, you just log in and it connects, if you don't you register and it then connects. so i guess that's instead of the community tab that patreon used to have?

Just a side note - for Discord to work I had to change my custom pledge to the $1 tier. :-(

That was a trip. Couldn’t figure it out in the Patreon app. If anyone who’s already got a Discord account is wondering how to connect the accounts, go to Patreon in a browser, then to “my profile settings”, “apps” and then you’ll find where to connect to Discord.

i have a 2% grasp on how discord works, but i believe that area just announces when new members join (i don't have permission there, either). you should be able to post in the other sections.

Discord knowledgeable people Help..lol If the only Tier that discord will accept from this Patreon is the $1 Tier and any custom tiers are not allowed access.. how do we join Jim's palace with out cutting our pledges? Also Yesterday I had the Jim Palace icon . and now it's gone and I can't seem to find a way to get it back. Sigh I feel stupid ;-(
