Hey Patrons!

Rounding out an insanely busy month with a Q&A video answering some of the questions you sent in. In this video I talk about why we went to PAX, our plans for more behind the scenes videos, future studio space dreams and my livestreaming plans.

As you watch this I'm finishing off a rather charming video about The Witness which will be live in a few days. So keep your eyes peeled for early Patron access to that too.

Talk soon!

Danny

Hey Danny, loving your content so far and these updates are great. I hope you enjoy your honeymoon and get a well deserved rest. Where are you off to? I'm also away on my Honeymoon in April after getting married last October.

Hi Danny, on the topic of your length of content I'm really happy you said you're not concerned about aiming for a length target. I really hope you continue making them as long or short as you feel they need to be (and personally I love the long ones). Keep up the great work!

Thanks for trying to answer my question about documentary length Danny. Not sure I agree with your point about 10 min shorts being primarily a marketing led format. The Nintendo docs were all focused and informative I thought. The Point seemed to average 10 minutes also. You mention that people can always use the pause button on YouTube, and presumably return later, but do they? Time constraints add a helpful discipline to the editing process I used to find.

Hey Danny! great job with the content. I was wondering if we could ever see a doc about the animators job in a game, what is a regular day of work for an animator or something like that. Thanks for doing this amazing work, and im also glad that you're giving a hand to KF guys they are awesome too!

Showing my age here, but I would love to see documentaries about older games, particularly on the PC side. I realize these aren't relevant today, but I would love to know about 90s Origin Systems (Ultima, Wing Commander, BioForge, Crusader, etc.) or have a look at the time/design of some place like Delphine Software International (Another World, Flashback, Fade to Black, etc.)
