Hello Patrons!

It's been a busy few weeks for myself and Jeremy - first filming all of our interviews around GDC, and then flying off to Boston to do some business and host a panel. So we decided to bring a camera and shoot some behind-the-scenes stuff while at the show, plus we asked Eric Kanius & Chelsea Smith of ENC3000 to film our panel for those of you who couldn't make it. The video above is an amalgamation of the two, we hope you enjoy it!

I also want to take a moment to say hello to all of our new patrons! This week my good friend and F1 podcast co-host Drew Scanlon launched his Patreon "Clothmap". This is a project I was fortunate to know about for quite a while, and one that I'm very excited to see him undertake. If you've not had a chance to take a look at it yet, I suggest you pop over and watch his trailer. Remarkably, when he launched a bunch of extra patrons also rushed into Noclip, so I just want to take a moment to thank you all for your support. If you have any questions, you can reach out to me over the Patreon direct messaging system. And be sure to check out all the behind-the-scenes stuff you've missed so far , it's all on the Patron Feed - just use the menu on the left.

For the rest of you, my wonderful friends, we are hard at work on our The Witness doc, which we pushed back a few weeks to allow for a second episode in the Frog Fractions series. We're also hard at work on our Spelunky doc. Expect them both in the coming weeks. Plus we're all booked for a flight to Japan in 2 weeks time. We're going to shoot a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff while in Tokyo too.

Aside from all that you can expect Q&A callouts this week, along with info on the next Patron Hangout.

Thanks again for your continuing support - this month was the most expensive so far for Noclip, but your funding has allowed us to dive at some very exciting opportunities that have presented themselves. We couldn't do this without you.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and the video!

Danny

Noclip @ PAX East 2017 - Panel & Behind The Scenes

Danny & Jeremy travelled to Boston to have secret meetings, play bunches of games and hang out with our Patrons at the first ever Noclip panel. This was a really great watch. A nice candid talk about what's going on. If the QandAs and Patron hangouts felt a bit more like this that'd be cool. Thanks for asking the 2 external people to film this, they did a great job 😀

Brandon K Gann

Hey Misters O'Dwyer and Jane! Thanks for putting this out! I really wish I could've been there. I'm super excited for the GDC interviews. For as short of a teaser they were, I can't wait for them.

Would it be dishonorable of you to talk about one of the European developer docs?

Had a great time seeing you at PAX, Danny! Glad I got in early and up close didn't even think I'd end up on video. Watching this made me relive it all over again. Good Times! Maybe one day I'll use my real name but you've always known me as Goob and I kinda like it so we'll just keep that going for now. Haha See yah next year bud!

mcwizardry

Very cool panel and a lot of great questions!

Tohir Tillyaev

Great panel, wish I'd be there! Looking forward to attending one of those in the future.

Colby Perry

I've never been to a PAX and...now I have! Any chance you two will be at Pax Prime (or whatever it's called now)?

Bavo Debraekeleer

Nice, I love behind the scenes stuff, looking forward to the upcoming Japan ones! And a big thanks for sharing the PAX panel and of course I can't wait to see the doc of The Witness! No O'Carina for another while than I suppose though, since you're so busy? It's going to be funny seeing you try to remember what happened again and messing with the controls. I bet that game's a lot easier if you're playing it somewhat more regularly. No worries though, the docs are more important! ;)

Dan Parsons

Do From Software ;)

Yea I'm reassessing my live stuff. The launch of the new opinion show is taking a lot of my time, and it has to come from somewhere. I'm 1000% committed to completing that game on stream. But I might not get back to it for a few weeks at this stage.

noclip

Trying not to spill the beans right now, but folks are clever. The clues are there :)

noclip

That's fair. We're looking at shooting the Q&As more professionally going forward. As well as patron updates in general. Expect some cool new stuff soon!

Crap, I hate when the email notifications don't go out.

At first I thought it was crazy that you had never heard the word "flurry," then I realized since coming to America you've been living in California where they'd probably consider that a snowstorm.

I am glad I went to this panel! You are so fun and passionate and it's clear how much of that passion you put into your work. What you do is genuine in a way that shows through in your craft, because that love is the glue that holds everything together. Keep it up!

Clay A Binkley

Great video. Awesome panel. Better than most of the panels I paid to watch on Twitch.

I remember at the San Diego meetup saying my biggest No Clip wish was an XIV doc. So happy that is looking more and more like a reality! So pumped.

Jason Tilling

Great Vid - lots of secret projects, can't wait.

Hey Danny, what can I say "bualadh bos", another great doc. I've been a patreon from the start and have been a fan of your work for many years, congrats on all your success, keep up the great wok. From a fellow Irishman, living out of Vancouver BC, which has a huge video game industry, I'm sure you're aware of, you and Jeremy should consider doing something up this direction. Enjoy Mexico and Japan, your content just gets better and better.

Andrew Smith

Loving the long form and behind the scene videos. Also, really looking forward to the GDC stuff. Keep up the great work!
