Hey Early Access Patrons,

At long last the next episode of Greatest Hits is here. In this episode we talk to two of the Lionhead Founders about the design of Black & White, and investigate why it's not been available to purchase online for over two decades.

I'm interested on feedback for this one as it's a little light on context for Bullfrog/Lionhead and the gameplay of Black & White than some of our usual videos. I tried to just tell the story we were telling and imply much of the rest within the interviews and gameplay, but it may or may not work if you never played Black & White. So as ever, I'd love to hear what you think.

It'll be going live next week, so please enjoy your early access weekend window.

I remember how my friend got his parents (clueless about games) to buy him B&W for what was a ridiculously expensive 100 D-Mark (about 52 Euros 😅). And although his PC was too slow and the mechanics were clunky, we couldn't get over how great the creatures were. @Danny: I remember it being very buggy right after release, maybe if Peter talked about that it's worth adding to the doc. Given the size of the team it's understandable now, but at the time we were pretty pissed about that, since the hype was so huge. So maybe it would add a little more context to the whole "production circumstances" segment. Just a thought.

Any doc that gets the Stray treatment is an instant s-tier video. Really enjoyed this one.
