Today is a massive day for Noclip.

Not only are we publishing one of our best documentaries, but we're publishing gameplay and details for three games that had seemingly been lost to time; The Crossing, LMNO and a cancelled Half-Life 2 episode.

This has been a massive effort by the entire team, and a bunch of people helping us behind the scenes. We'll have a lot of patron-exclusive insight into this project this week with the podcast and some fun videos in the works. 

We'll get to that - but for now, please just sit back, relax, and watch how your support managed to bring this story to light.

Quick and maybe dumb question: Will this have Half Life 2 or ep1/2 spoilers? I'm assuming it's a non-zero chance. The only reason I ask is because I'm finally playing through the HL games, and finished HL1/Black Mesa (which are spectacular), and didn't wanna get spoiled. I"m prepping for Alyx. Thanks and so excited to watch this. Will probably watch 3-4 times!

*thinks about it* eh - no. It shouldn't. One of the characters from HL2 is in this spin-off but there's no connection to the other games at all.

What a scoop, I suspect the revelations and reveals contained within this excellent doc will get you more than a few new Patreons! It really does make me feel like some of these stories never would have been told without NoClip and that makes me incredibly proud to have funded you from the start. Fantastic stuff guys. Just a huge thank you for starting us into the experience of Ravenholm the way it would have been. I literally erupted, like, oh my god, there it is, there's the missing episode! Let's get this out, why is this not out? It's all right there! Totally get the sadness of everyone involved in the making of it. Real pity. And nonetheless great work, Danny and team Noclip, to remind me of how strongly I feel about games and the passion that goes into making them. Truly masterful film-making. Hope this pays off in all the right ways for Noclip. Again, just: Thanks. ❤️

Holy shit that was a great fucking doc. It probably helps that Europeans and people who are, like, culturally-adjacent (whatever that means to you) to Europeans are are little more direct, less fake, less corporate/plastic. That being said, I stopped your doc 40 minutes in to have dinner with my family, and waited for them to go to bed to continue it. And I've barely played any Arkane games (a little PREY). I never do that. Amazing work.

Just wanted to say you guys nailed it on this doc. A great watch. When I heard you were doing Arkane I got hold of Prey and I finished it a few weeks ago and what a game it was. But watching this intro doc makes me want to buy Dishonored too! Thank you and keep smashing the docs.

Wow. Even if I wasn't a huge Arkane fan I'd still say this is one of the best Noclip docs yet. The fact I AM just makes it that much better, defiinitely one of my favourites! Just put 30 hours into Prey as well, so landed at a perfect time :P

Great doc guys! Really interesting learning about Arkane. One question when I clicked the link I got an ad on Youtube before your doc? Have you decided to turn on ads?

Was going to ask the same thing. Got one as well. I know Danny has brought it up a number of times, especially considering that they know now what their revenue could have been on ads if they were enabled on the content thus far. I'm fine with ads, happy to watch them to support NoClip. Probably just giving it a shot, since this is their biggest doc yet. Good time to give it a go

Finally got around watching this one! Really awesome seeing them evolve towards Dishonored, you can already see it's design in all the cancelled projects! It's really long though! 😅 What's the statistic on the amount of viewers watching till the end?
