Hey Patrons,
Something fun for the weekend. Here is our longer feature from our day-trip to NetherRealm Studios. In it we dive into the design decisions made to re-invent Mortal Kombat over and over. How the team operates now in comparison to 25 years ago, the decisions on what to do with the story, and the considerations made for the various types of Mortal Kombat players.
Hope you enjoy it!
Also, general Updates while I'm here...
Today is my the first day I'm doing a Noclip Staff Party Stream which is the new reward for $20 Patrons. We're gonna test it out today but basically I'm going to take the afternoon off work (I'm going to do some exercise this morning) and I'm gonna spend that time privately streaming some games and chatting to whoever pops into the chat. It's a nice way to force myself to take some time off, while getting to chat with a bunch of you. The VOD will also be available for those patrons afterwards.
For those of you in the $5 tier we've a behind-the-scenes on our trip to Chicago going up on Saturday. We have more BTS stuff from Supergiant coming too. Two podcasts are being edited right now and we'll be announcing out first Patreon Event Pass for our week-long filming session at GDC next week too. Loads of exciting stuff happening this month! We're revving up for a massive 2019.
Enjoy the video, and thanks so much for your support!
Talk soon,
Danny
