[EARLY PATRON VERSION - Enjoy!]

Hey Patrons,

Welcome to the first episode of the Noclip Podcast. This is also the beginning of your exclusive Patron RSS Feed which will have episodes of the podcast days before they go live on iTunes. Shortly after this post you should receive an email showing you how to access your new exclusive RSS feed (it's tied to your account) but if you didn't, use the link below to activate it. Apologies to those of you who have already received this email THREE TIMES FOR SOME REASON. That was a Patreon bug, not my doing.

The first episode of the Noclip Podcast (which we're just called "Noclip" on podcast services) is about the life and work of Sergey Galyonkin - creator of Steam Spy.

Thanks to everyone who gave feedback on the pilot version of the episode. I have re-mastered the audio to be clearer, and added some more SFX along with a whole new intro to the piece. The original intro has been used as an introductory episode at the start of the feed.

Let me know what you think of the  episode, and if you have any trouble adding the RSS to your podcasting software of choice.

Thanks so much.

I'm excited to have you along on a whole new adventure for us!

I saw the first notification for the RSS and thought "Oh cool, I'll add that later." After the third one I was like "ok, Danny is really excited about this, I'll add it now." 😂

I'm 100% blaming Patreon for that. I wouldn't have known except Esteban got all the emails while he was at his desk :D

Matt Matlock

That was very interesting! I’m not a PC gamer and had never heard about Steam Spy, but this made me care about it. Well done, sir!

Awesome, welcome to my commute podcast rotation!

Great new addition to the Noclip lineup!

Excited to give this a listen! The RSS feed isn't working with Pocket Casts, but I'll give it some time to work itself out, seeing as the Easy Allies RSS from Patreon works fine.

I can’t get the RSS to work on iOS Podcasts or Overcast. Is my link broken?

Steven Simmons

Overcast isn’t pulling any episodes for me either. The feed is properly named though.

noclip

Sorry for the hassle. Is it pulling the podcast feed title correctly and just not displaying any episodes?

The sound is so much better than most remote conversation podcasts! Awesome first episode!

Just to let You know that with my podcast listening app of choice - Downcast for iOS - the RSS podcast link works just fine. Many thanks for the interesting story there!

Loved it! Thanks Danny!

This is so good I'm upping my pledge.

Fantastic to get an audio podcast. Thank you! Left a 5* review on iTunes, I'll look forward to this as much as the video content!

Brett Geiser

Confirmed, Overcast on iOS works. When you are copying the link in the email, make sure to truly copy the text of the link, and not by tap and hold over it (as that is the tracking link, which doesn’t work)z

Martin

Got to this a bit late but excellent podcast, really good :)
