Hey guys,

So Suzy Lu is a YouTuber who has drawn a lot of negative attention to herself in regards to copyright breaches on YouTube and now, unfortunately PATREON.

Apparently the big companies are now looking into it.

As you know, I upload Anime reactions on here.

A lot of reactors do. Movies, shows etc.

So I’m not sure what the future suddenly holds for me here.

I would love some feedback or insight from you all on what you know of this case and what I could possibly do moving forward.

Are timer based reactions about to become a PATREON exclusive?

Double eps.

New exclusive series not seen on YouTube.

Let me know your thoughts on the subject.

Dean.

I haven't heard of anything like this, but it wouldn't surprise me. Patreon did crackdown hard on Adult Content creation on the platform last year and a lot of them went to other similar services to Patreon, but I honestly don't know where you could do something similar, but for reactions. You could always do the reaction videos on YT, but you'd probably have to cut it down even more and probably even mute it completely. It's hard to say what the right approach would be.

Feels like this been coming for some time. Even some alternative sites have begun cracking down on reaction videos or implemented pay walls in certain ways. Not sure what the best solution will be going forward, hope you make it work somehow.

Never heard of her before this drama seems like she’s abusing the system and shining a bad light on the reaction community because of it. I’ve never liked YouTubes stance on reaction channels and now even other platforms are following suit. I’m not surprised if more roadblocks are on the way for reactors the community is constantly growing and the wrestle with Fair Use is ever evolving but tbh I wouldn’t pay for timer based. There’s vimeo, google drive, daily motion, mega nz, bitchute and you’re the first I’ve seen using dropbox.

https://mega.nz/file/ShVyECSS#UctLp7mgbVhIF4QT5tlxYFDRjhBYXlGeJcRaCv4Mmjw This video was removed from youtube because Suzu Lu got it removed for cyber bullying but the truth is she has someone big protecting her in youtube's company and it will go to the point where it will protect her from being sued or being sued for her. You don't have to download what is on the link you can play it on that website by clicking on the red play button, it is a lengthy video but gives a good crackdown on what has happened and what will probably happen. I think Patreon will not stay a safe place for unedited reactions such as yours Dean. We have to wait and see.

Look I'm a sucker for reaction channels, but full length reactions are definitely not legal. So if you say big companies are looking into it, you might have to move to only timer based reactions which should be okay

i watched her for Naruto reactions awhile back but her channel was straight up deleted, she made a new one but i don't whats happening now with her channel. I think we'll be fine, i'm also guessing Suzy is copping all this heat in the first place because of the amount of haters she has. Hope things stay well for everyone involved in the reactor world.

Erik Nilsson

The problem is that the timed reactions aren't necessarily safe either. Some series gets taken down unless you basically take out all video and audio, regardless of what should be fair use.

Suzy lu sucks. I know there some alternative sites to patreon https://www.buymeacoffee.com/patreon-alternative Get in the robot uses this but they aren't a reaction channel
