The animation quality steadily increases each volume. Can't wait to see the Volume 4 reactions. and yes it's good to be a patron.

Oh yes, the animation gets even better - even three Volumes into the switch to Maya, Volume 6 had many scenes that were absolutely incredible. Volumes 4 and 5 have their issues, but they're better than many people say - people nitpick animation errors and complain about the story direction, but if you're not looking to hate it and have liked it thus far, there's a good chance you'll still like it and enjoy it going forward. Volume 6, on the other hand, hits the ground running and maintains a pretty good pace in both storytelling and animation - it's such a step up that it's almost shocking, and that's me saying that as someone who still loved Volumes 4 and 5 in spite of their flaws. Seriously can't wait for you to catch up - at the pace you're going it looks like you'll be there right around the start of Volume 7!
