The escalation continues! Yesterday had the band together for some Kill Team. This time around the goal was to learn the rules. I've been doing my Homework and Braeden has some experience so we jumped in. Two objectives in the middle and a 5x5 square deployment for our teams. Shout out to Raven ( https://www.instagram.com/gravenlystudio/ ) who created these tiles.

Pictured below is that fateful moment when 4 of my Kasrkins felt the burn. They survived but I don't know if I would call that living. 1 and 2 health left, hanging by a thread.

Gotta love those vantage points and cinematic moments. In the end I clinched the victory but we had this proxied missle launcher unload on a guardsman, killing him double with 22 damage done on an 8 wound soldier.

You may also notice that's the familiar gray plastic on my models, no, this is a painted gray! I've been able to put some time in on the gang. Below is my first test model, thanks to Nivek for sending these figures, books, and whole lot more. It's not even my birthday, thanks man!

And here is the whole force in progress. I've set aside the seargeant for a tutorial but it will look nice to present him with a finished unit.

Until next time!

Nice terrain! Looks like a fun game too, but GW already got too much of my money haha...

That board looks amazing. Has some Necromunda vibes. Must be really enjoyable/immersive to play on in comparison to a cardboard floor.

I imagine each tile cost about $100. Glad my buddy put his time into it, I couldn't manage something this crazy.

It was originally intended for Necromunda and I'm sure we'll get around to that eventually :) Very cinematic, it has me inspired and that's good for brush speed.
