Chugging right along, this is a lengthy project but I'm enjoying the slow burn and keeping it moving steadily. With large projects like this you can lose momentum, my solotion is to break it into pieces but it is still a time consuming project. The taller the mountain the sweeter the breeze they say.

The boss has been set aside for a future video, I'll get things right on the boyz so I can be sure he's right and proppa.

I've been painting this mainly on stream and where I left off the metals were being shaded in preparation for a wash. I'm still not sure about the magenta pelts, I might switch those to red but I'll work some other areas up first. A red based in purple might mix better.

The dreadnought is also getting closer to the finish line. I'm planning to pull a portion of it to the side for a video as well.

Onwards and upwards! I'll have this finished in the fever pitch of Waagh energy known as Orktober.

Cheers,
-Sam

A really awesome project.

This will be so incredibly cool when it's finished. I enjoy keeping up with the process in the Twitch VODs, but am looking forward to the separate videos as well. The separate video quality tends to be a bit higher than the stream, which makes it even better to see all the details of how you work. Oh, and thanks for putting all the photos in the gallery. Nice and big! Cheers!

Glad you enjoyed it, Martin! Those gallery shots are for you, thanks as always for the constructive feedback. I'm still chasing down that dull sound behind everything. I even tried recording with the computer off, it helped but I think the issue is my mic. Gotta capture some of the magic on this one in tutorial form, more to come!
