Dude, Merlin! (Patreon)

Recently I went for deep dive in my hall of potential, the one in the basement. My stores runneth over, the sign of a prosperous house. I was down there looking for some older Ork sculpts from the early days, more on that later.

While I was digging, I came across this sculpt from Nocturna Models and who am I to deny the wizard's call? This model was also a gift from Vince which adds an extra layer of fun.

The whole purpose for this model was to create amnemerald refelcting pool. The light cast upward and a cool water effect for bonus points. It came together very quickly, I kept the pallet deep and limited in order to feature the green glow.

I was also collecting footage and notes on this as I worked along. There will be a video on the process up soon. Unchained!

I'll leave you with this one. it's been a really pleasing color pallet to bring togther. I might push the light up further as well, still measuring that part out.
