Back to the jungle we go! This time we're taking a closer look at the recipe and application of the gold NMM crown. There are many acceptable ways to represent NMM gold and I'm happy to add another to the growing roster. This time around I'm after a more subdued version that seems fitting of a king in a humid environment. Enjoy!

Colors used:
From Vallejo, Black, Green Brown, Medium Flesh Tone, and Camo Olive Green.
From Liquitex, Titanium White.

Very cool and great recipe. I never could understand this medium flesh tone: if applied pure the base coat just looks weird. Well it is just a name. Who could have thought it works for nmm too. Btw in your model those bracers also look amazing. I love how you made those. Great (mini-)holidays Sam!

In fact this project keeps reminding me of Ronnie James Dio ...

Thanks, Wim! I feel same about it. I picked it up while trying find a good ochre tone and for that it works. I dint really see it in a flesh tone at all. I'll have to try and make it work. This was a fun one though, I think it looks more realistic in it's tones. I'm at the airport now, heading to a metal fest :)
