Hails and cheers, Chromatic Warriors! This tutorial is coming in a bit late, it was meant for last week but I was traveling and it put my schedule off a bit. Rest assured there will be a second tutorial up this week.

This time around we're taking a look at the sword of the vampire. This is a fun way to address environmental reflections, creating a gradient and then glazing in our chosen atmospheric tones. Enjoy!

Colors Used:
From Vallejo, Black and White.
From P3, Moldy Ochre and Exile Blue.

This turned out really nice. Easy to follow. I think the one thing I personally noticed is how lightly you are sweeping the brush across the blade. The tip does not bend what so ever. I think usually I may be sweeping the brush a bit to hard when I am painting and that sometimes deposits more paint than I want.

Yeah buddy! It a lot to do with the pressure. Just the slightest bend in those sweeping motions.
