I've got the blue, the Sylas Beasbane blue cloak bluuuues. Greetings, Chromatic Warriors! This time around we're taking a look at the gorgeous cloak waving behind Sylas as he struts the battlefield. Combining a few techniques as always to get the best results :)

Colors used:

From Vallejo, Turqouise, Dark Prussian Blue, and White.
Also, blue ink from Dialer Rowney's FW line.

I had the blues, and then you hammered them away. One question about wet blending: is there a limit to the area size? Like, is there a point where you think, nah, this is too small to wet blend and decide to use something else instead? I find that while I'm okay blending large areas, smaller, fiddly cloaks and things are much harder.

Awwyeah, smashing the loneliness with that blues hammer 😎 I think it has its limits when it comes to size, not everything calls for a wetblend but on a surface like this, I find it useful for getting things established. I'll have tutorial on his face and hair coming up next and used regular blending to get everything done because it was such a small area.

Sooo smoth! 😎 I bet he is on his way to growing long hair but got called out for battle too early 😁 I need to get me some nice cloak to try that out. Looks like s good surface to learn wet blending
