Still smokin! Slowly I've been chipping away at this project. Dioramas are the pinnacle of miniature painting, I feel, but man are they a challenge. Its pretty much maximum difficulty in every category. Dramatic words but it requires a longer lasting dedication.

So here we are with a little update. I've been pouring my time into the Warqueen's side of the battle. The skin tone used is the same recipe from the video on Brutog Corpse EATER. Everything is pretty simple at this point, a bit boring too but its a necessary foundation. Once I have the majority of the work nearly done, I'll be going back in and adding more dramatic lighting and shadows. I want to over emphasize some fantastical green and blue hues on the skin, add a bit of ice yellow to the upward facing highlights, make it look like the frazatta battle its supposed to.

I'll have to paint the Iron Golems at some point too, heh. Those will be easy.

I think there is a video somewhere in here too, adding the dramatic colors to something that could be seen as complete will be a thought provoking topic.

Remain unchained my friends. Getting it done is a matter of time and what is complex is not impossible, its just takes work. Let's do it!
