Unchaimed! That will make more sense after you watch the video. This week we're getting dirty and creating a recipe. Something fast, effective, and most of all, stylish. Creating recipes is it's own art form and it's been a blast carrying this style through my Warcry collection.

Colors used:

From Monument: Black and Dark Camo Green (enter the code samson20 at checkout for a 5% discount). I enjoy the brushes and primer from this line but struggle with some of the paints.

From P3: Battledress Green, Bloodstone, Cryx Bane Base, Khador Red Base

From GW: Wraithbone

From Vallejo: Green Brown, Black, Black Gray, Deck Tan, Buff

Other ingredients: FW Sepia Ink.

In my last video I mentioned that my mic had gone out. With the new mic I have a slight hum on this recording, the music helps cover it but damn that hum. This was also the second time I painted this model that day, making a mistake when he was nearly complete the first time.

But I'm happy to say I've sorted the problem with the new mic, bummer that the issue remains on this recording. I plan on fixing it but that will include some deeper work pulling the audio and editing it in another program.

Additionally this new mic has set me down a path of upgrading the rest of my gear, including a second camera. This Patreon is almost a year old and it's time to grow :)

I am really inspired by the easy way to lift the model and highlight some parts to make the shadows stand out. Both shadow and flame! Also, never stop being easygoing. You always get me in a good and motivated mood😊

Awwyeah, so glad to hear that, Kenneth! I see this as painting approach that cuts out the middle steps and just goes for maximum contrast. We'll have another video in this same style uo this week :) I'll take it easy and you do the same 😎

I think this is the type of painting that helps develop brush control and confidence. It’s extremely practical and still stands to produce awesome models for the table. This is the kind of painting that will help us tackle more advanced stuff down the line. Excellent examples and thanks for the video!

Yeah buddy! I'm so glad to hear that! Definitely want to revisit this approach in the future, on an entire army 💀 Recipie building has a lot of charm to it.
