Time to take a swing at the John Blanche style, or Blanchitsu on the streets. I'm a huge fan of his work and this project will provide a lot of teachable moments. In this first video, I'm going over the build from the base up. I did my best to edit this footage down, it was hours of work in reality but this should sum it all up.

For some reason as I was working on this, the name Galahad came to mind. I thought it would be cool to add freehanded scroll with the knights name on it across the hull or shield. It's been a while since I've read anything related to King Arthur but Sir Galahad was one of his knights. It seems like a good fit and adds an extra motivation. Now I can look into various coats of arms and try to capture that regal, dark gothic look. Let's do it!

I finally got some time to see this vid.....I love your bases and the way you build them. I on the other hand hate base building but I've come to appreciate the art and what they can lend to a miniature and how they can set the atmosphere and tone for the setting. Watching you build gives me ideas and inspiration for building bases, Can't wait to see how this all comes together.

That out take is Priceless Sam. Laughed pretty good on that. Thank you.

Thank you Arthur, I'm happy to hear that :) Building up a project, and especially and wild base, is my favorite part. Well, aside from finishing but it's all part of the process.
