Little changes. (Patreon)

I have decided to make some changes to rules regarding art requests on «Patreon rewards». “But why, Vad?” you may ask. Let me explain you all the details.

Currently it works this way: «if you see a free slot, write me a massage». It’s pretty simple, but there are some problems with that. As I recently learned, it is not easy for everybody to pay attention to the list all time and thus some people get systematically left out of the list.

Because of that I have decided to rearrange this whole system. From now on I am going to use the “priority queue” principle.

What that means:

Starting today, I will only form new list after the previous one is completely dealt with. The list of "Patreon rewards" will contains 5 slots. You are going to be informed of new list creation beforehand and will have 2 to 3 days to to send your requests. This will give more time to those who usually miss their opportunity to send their requests in time.

Priorities in the list are going to be assigned to requests based on following principles:

1. Those who didn’t yet get any drawings from me get the top priority.

2. Your “Lifetime Support”. However, it is important to note that not the raw numbers are going to be taken into account but rather ratio of support to number of complete requests + 1 (your current submission). This will not let my veteran patrons get constant advantage over more recently joined.

I very much appreciate those who supported me from the start but I have to make this rule as it would not be fair for my newest supporters otherwise. I hope you understand and accept this decision.

3. The character itself. This may very well become the reason for me to reject your request so please pay attention. If I were to choose between typical Marey Sue (i.e. alicorn colt in rainbow coloration) or a balanced character (i.e. some regular filly), I will hardly choose the former. Additional incentive for me to accept your request would be to ask for canon (show) characters - I will even thank you for your request this way :)
